SAY GOODBYE TO EXCESSIVE SWEATING

Men with Hyperhidrosis feel the heat in more ways than one. Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterised by excessive sweating, which affects an estimated 3% of the population. Men with Hyperhidrosis in Dubai are challenged with the hot and humid climate and the social stigma associated with excessive sweating.Hyperhidrosis can have a severe impact on a man’s life. It can lead to low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. It can also make it challenging to participate in physical activities, such as sports and exercise, and leave people feeling embarrassed or self-conscious.

WHAT IS BOTOX®?

Botox® can relax the muscles, which causes dynamic wrinkles on the body, and the principle is the same for perspiration. The nerves that trigger sweat glands are blocked as Botox® is a purified protein. Hyperhidrosis is treated at the base and temporarily freezes the overactive nerves. The desired outcome is much less perspiration and dryer skin.

Where can Botox® be used?

Botox® injections have many applications and can be used for aesthetic or medical reasons.  The most widely known purposes are:

  • Diminishing crow’s feet or laughter lines at the corners of the eyes
  • Smooth the vertical glabellar lines between the eyebrows
  • Bunny lines on either side of the nasal bridge may be reduced.
  • Soften forehead lines restoring the skin’s youthfulness.

Specific medical ailments may be reduced by Botox® such as:

  • Underarm perspiration like hyperhidrosis. Botox® prevents sweat glands from over-releasing water when injected. The treatment is quick, comfortable, and non-surgical, with nearly no side effects, and it reduces perspiration by more than 80%.
  • Reducing jaw clenching and teeth grinding.
  • Preventing frequent migraines
  • Treating crossed eyes
  • Calming muscle spasms
  • Treating bladder hyperactivity
  • Reducing the signs of depression

Treatment

  • The first step is for a personalised consultation with our doctor.
