PRP
CUTTING EDGE SKIN REJUVENATION TREATMENT

PRP is a cutting-edge injectable aesthetic treatment that produces remarkable transformations in skin appearance, softening sun damage and improving signs of ageing. The treatment uses the patient's blood platelets and plasma, making it entirely natural and eliminating the risk of infection or allergic reaction. The procedure is quick and painless and has gained popularity as the "Vampire facial" due to the use of the patient's blood. This innovative skin rejuvenation technique combines two treatments in one – PRP infusion and micro-needling – to achieve increased collagen production, tighter and firmer skin, improved moisture retention, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, and enhanced skin tone and texture.

WHAT IS PRP?

The procedure starts with the patient’s blood being drawn from a vein in the arm and placed into a centrifuge. Then, the platelets and plasma are separated from the red and white blood cells. This PRP is then injected into the skin using a very small needle. Once the PRP is injected into the skin, the micro-needling device creates tiny punctures. This causes the skin to produce collagen and elastin, which helps improve the skin’s appearance. The procedure is completed with a hydrating moisturiser and sunscreen to protect the skin.

The PRP is injected into the desired face, neck, or decolletage area, even into hands, hair and feet. As the platelets release their growth factors, the body naturally responds by creating new collagen and elastin. This process stimulates cellular regeneration, resulting in a smoother, more toned, youthful-looking complexion. Multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired outcome depending on the individual and their desired results.
